Original Post: Book Two Update

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to write to say you are following Daphne’s career with interest!

An update. Book Two in the trilogy is already written. All the main characters return. Daphne recovers and goes back to dance at the Ballet Splendide in Paris. The utterly vile Ova schemes to get out of tinpot Doomania where we left her. We also meet some new important characters, including a ravishing, talented Princess, daughter of the Maharajah of Jaimal from the vast, glamorous subcontinent of India.

Book 2 is called ‘Daphne in Danger’. I have done my best to live up to the title on all fronts! I anticipate publication about a year from now.

I am so grateful that you are spreading the word on Daphne to family and friends. Your encouragement and support really do mean a lot to me.

Dear Susan, I share your impatience, and that of all the 'Daphne' fans to get Book Two:Daphne in Danger out into the world. As you may have been hearing, the book publishing industry is going through a big upheaval at the moment with the evolution of e-reading. So the big publishing firms are having to re-evaluage how they bring books to the public. The result is that they are not publishing very many books now (unless the books are written by a really famous author). I hope and believe things will be back to normal soon.
